‘Abyss by ABP’ Name Origin

The name Abyss by ABP stems from both my initials (Asare Bampoe-Parry) as the founder as well as my fondness for the meaning of the word abyss. An abyss—a “deep or seemingly bottomless chasm”—symbolizes something boundless and infinite. This idea captures my vision for the brand: an ever-evolving creative journey without limits.

While clothing was my starting point, Abyss by ABP is more than an apparel label; it’s an art and lifestyle brand. My goal is to explore endless forms of art expression, from clothing to accessories, furniture, films, sculptures, and beyond.
